Studio Hire Terms Updated September 2014
Hire of Studio Space
NONE KEY HOLDERS: Hire Slots Available: Tuesday 8.30pm and Wednesday 8.30pm – Unit 5 (No Poles)
KEY HOLDERS: May book studio time when the requested studio is available and take full responsibility for the set up and set down of any kit they require.
Tempest Dance Studio permits current students and instructors to hire the space for following purposes only:
Additional training
Performance and choreography practice
Professional development
Studio Hire must not include students or instructors delivering instruction or training to other Hirers.
CCTV will be in operation in the Studio Space for your safety.
All Hirers must sign the Room Hire Sign In Sheet, available on the clipboard by the door.
All Hirers accept that dancing is a hazardous activity and Tempest Dance Studio will not be held liable for any injuries that occur during Studio Hire.
All Studio Hire must be pre-booked.
We recommend users bring a mobile phone.
Fees and Payment
Studio Hire Fees are £5.00 per person per hour for Studio 5 and Studio 4.
Individuals training are permitted to bring a non-participating spotter free of charge.
Tempest Dance Studio operates an Honesty Box policy with regards to Studio Hire Fees. Please ensure your Group’s fees are left in full at the end of your session in the tin provided. Your payment should be put in a Payment Envelope and labelled with the names of all Hirers, the date, time and total amount.
Rent a Pole / Hoop
These are timetabled sessions where current students may come and rent a pole or hoop to practice.
TUESDAY: 7.15pm – Unit 4
Cost £5 per person per session – paid in Unit 5.
If you wish to hire a hoop – please arrive 10mins before the session so this can be arranged for you.
Please sign into Unit 4 and inform the instructor in Unit 5 when you leave.

Pre-Booking is NOT required and you may be sharing the studio with other people.
Equipment and Studio a Fixings
Remember to turn off lights and heaters at the end of your session
Do Not turn off the Heater, which is plugged into the timer.
Hirers / Renters must only use equipment that they have received class instruction for.
Leave the studio as you found it.
All poles must be cleaned and left free from any grip aid residue.
Appropriate clothing must be worn.
Any damage to equipment must be brought to the attention of an instructor as soon as possible as damaged equipment may be a risk to other users.
